Returns & Refunds
Should you wish to return, exchange or request a refund for any item/s purchased, please contact Sean in the first instance, taking note of our policies below.
Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is faulty, has been damaged in transit, or you have received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We will be happy to arrange collection for return delivery to us. We will refund the full cost (including postage) to your payment card within 10 days of receipt of your return.
Should you wish to have the item/s repaired, we will arrange for collection, carry out the repair and return the item/s to you at no extra cost.
Please note, the exception includes damage to the item/s made by you during the hanging or fixing process.
Non-Faulty Item Returns
For non-faulty items purchased in person from our studio, our policy is 28 days from receipt.
For non-faulty item/s purchased online or over the telephone, if you are not satisfied or have changed your mind, under the Consumer Rights Regulations you have 14 days from the date of receipt to cancel your order, and a further 14 days from the date you notified us to return your item/s.
For all returns, please make sure your order is returned:
- Unused and in its original, saleable condition;
- In its original packaging (including any labels or tags);
- Include proof of purchase (copy of email order confirmation).
Sean Phelan Mirror Gilding is happy to arrange the return delivery. Please note, however, that you will be responsible for paying the insured return delivery costs for your item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we will refund the cost of the item/s to your original payment card within 10 days of receipt. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Please note: We reserve the right to refuse the return of an item deemed not to be resaleable.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom or bespoke products such as special orders or personalised items, unless they are faulty. Please contact Sean if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have according to the terms above, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Do get in touch if you have any questions.
